From Motel Meeting Rooms to a Monthly Home At Vibe

You might not expect a dental office and a coworking space to be a natural fit, but at Vibe Coworks, that’s exactly the kind of unexpected connection we love to see.

For years, Periocare & Implant Center has been a consistent presence in our meeting rooms, using the space to bring together dental professionals from across the region for continuing education. What began as a search for a better place to meet has turned into something much more: a long standing relationship rooted in trust, growth, and community.

It’s also a reminder of what’s possible when you move beyond one-off bookings and create consistent space for your team or network to gather, build momentum, and grow together.

We recently connected with Dr. Cardenas and her team, to learn more about her practice and how Vibe has become part of their monthly rhythm.

Periocare & Implant Center is a specialty dental practice focused on periodontal care and dental implants, serving patients across Kitsap County for more than 20 years.

Led by Dr. Laura Cardenas, the practice is deeply committed to patient education and advancing the field through ongoing professional development—including a long-running Study Club that brings local dentists together to learn, collaborate, and elevate care across the region.

Q: Tell us about your practice. What is something patients are often surprised to learn about Periocare & Implant Center?

Dr. Cardenas: “I started my practice over 20 years ago, with a deep commitment to education at its core. That commitment didn’t stop with my patients–it extended across the broader dental community.

About 10 years ago, we launched a Study Club for local dentists, creating space for continued learning, collaboration, and professional development.”

Q: What stood out about Vibe compared to other spaces you’ve experienced?

Dr. Cardenas: “The professional vibe, great technology, and of course the amazing people who work there!

Fun fact: Periocare & Implant Center is our longest standing meeting room user. You’ve been meeting here monthly since we opened in September 2018! A coworking space isn’t a typical place to find dental practitioners meeting. What prompted you to look to Vibe, and what happens when your team gathers here?

Dr. Cardenas: “Before Vibe existed, our group met in a motel breakfast room. Kitsap County desperately needed a professional meeting space.

Since 2018, we’ve been meeting in The Hive at Vibe every month, and are so thankful! We use our time at Vibe as a dedicated space for our Study Clubs, bringing area dental professionals together to learn, connect, and grow.”

Q: How would you describe your experience at Vibe?

Dr. Cardenas: “What started off as ‘just a meeting place’ has evolved into something more meaningful. We feel at home here and know that help is just a phone call away.”

Q: What advice would you give to other businesses looking to get the most out of a meeting day at Vibe?

Dr. Cardenas: “Be open to a different look – don’t just settle for the standard hotel space. Vibe has a lot to offer for groups of all sizes and when we’ve had a new idea, they have always been open to figuring out a solution.”

Q: What are you most excited about in your practice this year?

Dr. Cardenas: ” I am most excited to see growth: the personal and professional growth of my staff and colleagues, and the growth in the health of our patients!”

From motel breakfast rooms to a standing monthly gathering at Vibe since our earliest days, Periocare & Implant Center has been part of our story from the beginning.

Their commitment to education, collaboration, and community mirrors so much of what we believe in, and we’re honored to be the space where that work continues to unfold. If you’re hosting regular team meetings, client sessions, or industry gatherings, there’s real value in having a consistent home base. Recurring bookings at Vibe make it easy to create that rhythm—so you can focus less on logistics and more on the work that matters.
