August Vibe Unplugged

Welcome to Vibe Unplugged — our monthly roundup of what’s new, now, and next at Vibe Coworks. From member stories to local happenings, it’s your inside look at Kitsap’s coworking community in motion.

August 3, 2026—

August is here, and somehow we’re already staring down the last full month of summer!

Last year, my end-of-summer advice was to come to Vibe early, get your work done, and hit the water with your paddleboard by 3pm. That advice still stands—and I really ought to start practicing what I preach! Soak up these long summer days while we still have them, and wrap up the evening with a drink at Poulsbo’s newest spot, The Skal House Pub.

International Coworking Day is a good reminder that coworking is about so much more than having a shared place to get work done. So many of us have found real community within coworking spaces—friends, colleagues, collaborators, mentors, and people we may never have crossed paths with otherwise. At a time when the need for third spaces and genuine connection feels greater than ever, we’re incredibly proud of the community that has been built right here at Vibe.

And in perfect timing, this Friday is Free First Friday! Come cowork with us for free, try out the space, get some work done, and maybe even make a new friend while you’re here. Then, for an extra bit of fun, join us for Happy Hour over at Crabtree Kitchen & Bar to wrap up the day together.

So don’t be shy this month. Come in, use your membership, grab a seat next to someone new, and say hi to the community we’ve all helped build here.

But first, scroll down to see what’s happening around Vibe this August—and check out some awesome news from your fellow Vibists!

  • Fellow Vibe member Shelby Iapoce can be found at the Poulsbo Farmers Market on select Saturdays, selling her delicious gluten-free baked goods! Follow her on Instagram at Wants and Kneads to see which market dates she’ll be at next
  • Eric Scoutenwas asked to speak at the TEDx Seattle stage last week on Creativity and the Future of AI. Congrats Eric!
  • George Surdakoff recently created a new tool called twocal, designed to help people easily sync their calendars when juggling multiple client calendars. Congratulations, George, on the launch!

In a world where remote work can sometimes feel isolating, Teis is finding meaningful ways to build connection and community. Get to know Teis, learn more about what he does, and see how he’s creating community in a remote world.

We’re looking to grow our Host Program! In exchange for up to nine hours per week staffing the Vibe Welcome Desk, Hosts receive an Unlimited Vibe Membership with access to our workspace, meeting rooms, and professional community. If you love connecting with people, being part of the Vibe community, and want a great place to work, we’d love to hear from you!
