Twelve artists. And a ten-ton steamroller.
That’s how this print collection was born. Big art. Made in the streets. With love.
Wayzgoose Kitsap is a community-driven printmaking festival that brings artists and the public together to create large-scale prints using a steamroller. With a mission to excite, engage, and strengthen the community through art. The festival makes creativity accessible to all by providing materials and hands-on opportunities to participate.
Guided by values of integrity, inclusion, and knowledge-sharing, Wayzgoose Kitsap fosters connection and artistic expression. Each year, a new theme inspires local artists to explore meaningful ideas through bold, dynamic prints. In 2024, the theme Breath featured the work of 12 artists, highlighting renewal and resilience through printmaking.

About Wayzgoose
The first known Wayzgoose, thrown in 1681, was a boozy summer feast hosted by a Letterpress Printer for his Print Shop employees. The printing community embraces this annual tradition, often sharing a harvest goose…hence the name, Wayzgoose.
Today, the Wayzgoose has been reimagined as a public arts festival. At Wayzgoose Kitsap, local artists print hand-carved linoleum blocks with full-size steamrollers in the Marvin Williams Center of Bremerton.
