Welcome to Vibe Unplugged — our monthly roundup of what’s new, now, and next at Vibe Coworks. From member stories to local happenings, it’s your inside look at Kitsap’s coworking community in motion.
DECEMBER 1, 2025- The holidays are officially here, which means twinkle lights, year-end deadlines, and just a little seasonal chaos. Through it all, we hope Vibe can be your cozy corner of calm, and inspiration whenever you need to catch your breath. (Did I mention that the 2025 Vibe Gift Guide is now out?)
But let’s be honest… the best part of December at Vibe is clearly our Holiday Party + Cookie Exchange, taking place on Thursday, December 18 from 4-7pm. It’s my favorite event of the entire year, and if you’ve ever been, you know why. We’re talking potluck dishes, a parade of cookies, big pots of chili, and all the sweet chaotic joy. Bring your family, bring your friends, we might even have some games going, a movie for the kiddos, and a few surprises up our sleeve.
As we head into the final stretch of the year, just a quick reminder that Vibe will be closed for Winter Break from December 24–January 2. We use this time to rest, recharge, and come back ready to kick off 2026 with fresh energy. Personally, I love this season because it’s when I get to bring out my ornament collection—each one a tiny time capsule from the countries I’ve lived in or visited.
Stay merry, stay bright, stay Vibey,
Amber and the Vibe team
Bur first, some hot takes from your fellow Vibists:
- And last but certainly not least… Allison Wachtelis back! Many of you may remember her from her time as a member four years ago. She’s back in WA, back in business, and joining us as a Space Captain! Be sure to say hi or introduce yourself when you see her around.
- Mary Lovell launched her brand new Etsy shop, MaryJoyDoodlesandArt for the very first time this month. Check it out (and check off your holiday shopping list, too!)
- Cara Wilson was featured on the Life+Leadership podcast, talking about Building Teams Where Every Brain Belongs: Coaching Neurodivergent Teams to Thrive.
- Eric Scouten was elected to the board of the Decentralized Identity Foundation AND was promoted to Principal Scientist and Identity Architect, Content Authenticity Initiative at Adobe. Congrats!
- Founding40 Vibist Dan Weedin and longtime Vibe champion Ed Stern finished out campaigns for Poulsbo City Mayor that were a masterclass in democratic decency and integrity.
- The Rayonier team has closed up shop in Port Ludlow and moved in with us! Be sure to stop by their private office to say hello.

A few November highlights… in pictures:
- Friendsgiving delivered again! Great food, big laughs, and a whole lot of full bellies. Thanks for showing up and celebrating with us!
- Matchstick Lab Firebrand Unconference highlights: I couldn’t pick just one photo—there were too many gems. We loved seeing the space buzzing with entrepreneurs, every conference room full, and everyone putting in the work to make their businesses thrive.
- Election Night at Vibe! Mayor Ed Stern rented the Summit Space for a watch party with other Kitsap County officials. The room was packed, the energy was high, and it was very cool to witness.
- The month’s CreativeMornings with Ashley Oaksmith did not disappoint. A full house, tons of inspiration, and a community we love hosting. See you in a few weeks for the next one?
- Don’t miss us at Happy Hour on December 5! Last November we had a full house, new faces, and a lot of fun.
