About Sanjay
After an early exit from the corporate world, Sanjay Kaul’s photography developed organically during his retirement years. A few intermediate-level photography classes sparked an interest that evolved into a full-fledged post-corporate career hobby. Initial successes for his images in local and state-level competitions boosted his confidence and inspired him to pursue a more serious second career while residing in Texas.
As he traveled across the globe and within the 50 states, Sanjay began to observe and admire the rich beauty of the landscapes that surround us all. Capturing this beauty through the lens of his camera brings him tremendous joy, which he hopes to share with others in the hope that it brings them as much joy, love, and respect for our beautiful planet. Sanjay now resides in the Pacific Northwest, in the small and quaint town of Poulsbo on the scenic Olympic Peninsula.
Sanjay is particularly interested in landscape and nature photography, although he enjoys many different subjects and styles within the craft. He uses a Sony full-frame mirrorless camera with a range of lenses, and his post-processing is done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
