About the artists
Leah Persinger
On the first day of her cancer journey, Leah Persinger met Geralyn, a local oncology nurse whose knowledge, kindness, and confidence provided exactly the reassurance she needed. Their connection quickly grew into a deep friendship—one that has remained strong for nine years.
During treatment, Leah turned to painting as both a form of therapy and a means of income until she could return to work. During an animal-themed phase, she created this piece for Geralyn, who has a deep love for elephants and the powerful symbolism they carry. Representing luck, prosperity, wisdom, longevity, memory, and vitality, elephants reflect not only Geralyn’s admiration for them but also the strength and compassion she embodies.
Rachael Studebaker
Rachael Studebaker’s childhood was filled with a multitude of art supplies and craft kits, offering her the opportunity to explore different mediums and forms of expression. Over time, she developed a love for communicating through art, capturing both what is and envisioning what could be through her work in art and graphics. Though she had little experience with watercolors, Rachael embraced the challenge of relearning the medium, experimenting with how many layers of pigment she could apply before the paper was compromised.
Amber Sallay
Outside of her role as Vibe Coworks’ very own Community Lead, Amber Sallay enjoys spending her time painting, reading, and embracing the outdoors. After college, she turned to art as a form of therapy and a way to destress from her daily life. Amber shares, “My favorite part about painting is that I can mess up, and it’s totally fine. It becomes the beautiful and sometimes funny quirk in my piece.”
Dani Wasia
“The Greeks” collection by Dani Wasia is inspired by her time working for CommonForm in Bozeman, MT, and the myths her father would read to her as a child before tucking her into bed. This collection marks Dani’s first venture into the world of jewelry production.
Copper Poppy Designs is a jewelry brand created to accompany you through life’s adventures—whether you’re mountain biking, making a difference in the world, or sipping a fine whiskey. Their pieces are modern, crafted with gold plating, silver plating, and brass, focusing on timeless designs, local production, and values-driven partnerships.
Eliza Evans
Eliza Evans has always been drawn to nature and vibrant colors, often playing with these elements across various art forms. Like many, she loved creativity as a child, but stopped after too many adults implied she didn’t have “it.” Fortunately, Eliza let go of that voice and returned to painting ten years ago. She is also passionate about volunteering as an elementary school art docent, offering youth a voice that encourages them with a resounding “Yes, you can!”
