Vibe Coworks Exits Bremerton Location to Support Navy Expansion

In a move that underscores its commitment to community growth and support for the U.S. Navy, Vibe Coworks announces that it will exit its Bremerton location, The Spot, effective November 1, 2024.

BREMERTON, Washington (October 10, 2024)—Vibe Coworks, Kitsap’s leading shared workspace and coworking community, announced today that it will cease operations at The Spot, its on-demand meeting space located at 555 Pacific Avenue in Bremerton’s 6th and Pacific building, at the end of this month.

The transition comes as Vibe Coworks successfully achieved its objectives in partnering with the building’s landlord to maintain street-level occupancy and increase the availability of collaboration spaces in Downtown Bremerton, while also playing a pivotal role in attracting the U.S. Navy into the building.

Alanna Imbach, Founder and CEO of Vibe Coworks, shared:

“Vibe Coworks is proud to have been instrumental in bringing the U.S. Navy into this space at such a critical time for Bremerton and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

We understand the importance of supporting the Navy’s mission during the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP) and driving growth and activity in the downtown core, and this is our way of contributing to that.”

The Spot – A Vibe Space was first launched in 2019 to serve the modern meeting and workspace needs of local businesses, government contractors, and nonprofit organizations in Bremerton. The space played an important role in supporting the City’s economic development efforts by providing hundreds of hours of on-demand meeting room capacity to businesses and organizations in the downtown area.

In its place, the U.S. Navy will take over the lease on the entirety of the 4-story building, as part of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP). SIOP represents a $21 billion investment over the next 20 years, aimed at modernizing facilities and enhancing capabilities in the immediate area. This significant project will create thousands of jobs and improve the efficiency of operations. Vibe Coworks is proud to have played a small role in this transformative effort.

Imbach added that the goal of Vibe Coworks has always been to support the revitalization of Downtown Bremerton.

“As we close this chapter with The Spot, Vibe Coworks remains steadfast in our commitment to the Bremerton community and believe wholeheartedly in its vibrant future.

We’re proud of our role in this transition, and look forward to further expanding our support for local businesses and the U.S. Navy by doing what we do best: fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth through flexible workspace and ecosystem development.”

Space can continue to be booked at The Spot through November 1, 2024.

After that time, those in need of high-quality, tech-enabled meeting space are encouraged to book at Vibe Coworks’ flagship location in Poulsbo, where Vibe will continue to offer a range of flexible, fully private meeting rooms designed for productivity and collaboration. Booking can be done easily via mobile app or website: vibecoworks.com.
