About Michael Griffin

Born in Chicago and raised in Southern California, this photographer and digital artist is also a husband and father of two. Guided by the wind and fate, he explores the Pacific Northwest and beyond, capturing unsuspecting moments through his lens and bringing them to life through digital artistry.

Travel has been a major influence on his creative journey, shaping his deep appreciation for the people, places, and cultural differences that inspire his work. Color and texture also play a significant role, conveying a sense of time, place, and emotion—elements he considers essential companions in his artistic process.

Beyond capturing images, he finds joy in manipulating them through textures, tones, filters, and varying degrees of saturation and vibrance. His current collection is presented on metal, glass, canvas, and fine paper of varying textures, offering a dynamic visual experience.

He currently resides in Poulsbo with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Gracie and Gus.
